Many people enjoy training in a social environment, which you will find in our group classes. We are all here to learn, and your dog will benefit from learning these behaviors in the presence of other dogs and their owners. We meet once a week in a public setting such as a park or pet friendly store.
Board and Train
We provide fast results and is an excellent option for busy professionals. Your dog will stay in our home and receive daily personalized training in the areas they need most such as obedience, specialized training, behavior modification, or continued education training.
Looking for a guilt free vacation spot to board your dogs? Your dog will stay in our home and be treated as if they were our own. You receive frequent updates and your dog is often displayed on our social media pages.
Individualized lessons teach you how to effectively train and communicate with your dog. Lessons are scheduled at our facility one-on-one with a certified trainer and behavior specialist at times convenient to you and tailored to your specific needs.
Is your life too busy to provide consistent training and care to your dog on a daily basis? Do you want current training maintained while you go out of town? Well here is your solution; drop off your dog during the day to play and get professional training, then pick them up at the end of their boarding stay worn out and well behaved.
In Home Private Lessons
With our in home private training option, we outline custom lessons including exercises for you to work on with your dog in between sessions. How are lessons in your home beneficial? We are able to address concerns in the areas they are happening which improves the outcome of training. Behaviors like begging at the dinner table or jumping on visitors once they enter the door can be worked on immediately once displayed.
We offer go home baths and nail trims to make sure your fur baby is presentable going home.

Our goal at Hael & Hounds is to change the relationship between dog and owner by providing clear communication to all involved. We coach owners on how to be even tempered, yet assertive through balanced training methods. Creating confident and knowledgeable dog owners establishes a relationship between dog and owner that has long term stability and reliability. We work with all breeds and all ages.
Sophie began her dog training career at Spirit Ranch Dog Training in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2014. Here she was certified through the Animal Behavior College and from there her passion grew. At Spirit Ranch she managed the daycare, was the head trainer, and conducted group classes. Sophie wanted to expand her dog training knowledge, so in August of 2018, she attended the Starmark Academy for Certified Canine Trainers and Behavior Specialists. Service dogs, socialization, scent detection, and obedience training are her specialties. She has always had an obession with dogs ever since she was young. Sophie loves every dog she comes into contact with and will treat your dog as if it were her own. On top of being a Certified Canine Trainer and Behavior Specialist, she is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals, International Association of Assistance Dog Partners, and is an American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen evaluator.
She purchased her first doberman, Hael, the summer of 2015, and there Sophie fell more in love with training. She trained Hael to be her medical alert dog. However, two years later Hael was diagnosed with Dialated Cardiomyopathy and passed soon after. His memory was the inspiration behind Hael & Hounds. Now Sophie owns a boxer named Ari, a Karakachan named Poppy, a Belgian Malinois named Echo, and three sphynx, who are regularly used as distractions.
